Baptism is the first Sacrament of Christian Initiation.
To baptize means to “plunge” or to “immerse” into the water. Baptism is birth into a new life in Christ. It frees us from original sin and incorporates us into his Body, the Church.
Baptism of Infants and Children (up to 7 years old):
Parents who seek to have their children baptized must contact the parish office to inquire information regarding Baptisms. Please refer to the Baptismal Form/Packet for information on the required paperwork for both parents and godparents.
